KSAL ensures that Marine Corps soldiers are always ready to fight

JAKARTA - The Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy (KSAL) Admiral Muhammad Ali ensures the readiness of the Marine Corps in carrying out the country's defense duties.

Ali did this by conducting a raid on the Pasmar 1 Cilandak Headquarters, South Jakarta, Sunday, April 12.

"This raid is a real form of evaluation so that each unit is always in a combat-ready condition, both personnel and material, regardless of time," said Ali when carrying out the raid, as quoted in the official press release of the Indonesian Navy which was broadcast on Monday, quoted by Antara.

In the press release, it was explained that Ali had witnessed several combat simulations presented by the Marine Corps.

One of the combat simulations presented was the appearance of troops who were preparing for defense because foreign aircraft crossed the Pasmar I maras.

In addition, Ali also witnessed the moments when the elite Marine forces, namely the Frogman Command (Kopaska), held a simulation of the liberation of Marine officials who were kidnapped by the enemy.

Ali also took the time to check the completeness of the weapons and main equipment of the Marine weapons system (alutsista).

Ali assessed that all the simulations carried out by the Marine troops went well and were in line with the applicable procedures. He also appreciated the readiness of all soldiers involved in the simulation.

Ali hopes that the various simulations can sharpen the ability of Marine personnel in carrying out national defense duties.

"Readiness is the key to the strength of a professional, modern, and resilient Navy," said Ali.
