When asked about the Gencatan violators, Netanyahu accused Erdogan of massacring Turkish Kurds
JAKARTA - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has accused Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of helping Iranian proxies in their fight against Kurdish groups in the Middle East.
The harsh criticism of Erdogan came after Netanyahu confirmed that he would continue to fight Iran and its military proxies amid Israel's aggression, which continued to bombard Lebanon, killing thousands of civilians.
"Under my leadership, Israel will continue to fight the Iranian terrorist regime and its proxies, unlike Erdogan who helps them and even slaughters his Kurds," Netanyahu said on his X account, Sunday, April 12 WIB.
Israel under my leadership will continue to fight the Iranian terror regime and its proxies, in contrast to Erdogan who helps them and even slaughters his Kurdish citizens.

Previously, AN reported that Erdogan warned US President Donald Trump of "possible provocations and sabotage" that could undermine a ceasefire agreement after the 40-day war between the US-Isrel against Iran.
Israel on many occasions is known to frequently violate the ceasefire agreement. Erdogan also at the end of 2025 had issued a detention order for Netanyahu.
Furthermore, in his communication with Trump, Erdogan also urged that the US-Iranian ceasefire "not be compromised under any circumstances." He also offered Turkey's full support to ensure this.
Erdogan-Trump communicated after the ceasefire was announced by the US-Iran, and before the US-Iran negotiated an extension of the ceasefire that allowed it to become a permanent agreement in Islamabad, Pakistan, on Saturday, April 12, 2026.
