Trump Watches UFC Fight as Vance Announces US-Iran Negotiations

JAKARTA - The 21-hour US-Isran peace talks in Pakistan came to a stalemate with the delegation led by US Vice President (Wapres) JD Vance deciding to leave Islamabad today, Sunday, April 12.

So where was US President Donald Trump when US-Iranian negotiations on extending the two-week ceasefire into a permanent agreement stalled?

AFP reported that Trump was attending an UFC match when a negotiation agreement between the US-Iranian delegation in Pakistan was not reached.

Trump came to watch the UFC match with UFC President Dana White and several other Trump family members in Miami at 9 p.m. local time.

When the song of musician Kid Rock was played, the arena was filled with the UFC, Trump who had just arrived walked to his seat, where US Secretary of State Marco Rubio was waiting. Near them was also the US ambassador to India, Sergio Gor.

About half an hour earlier, at 6.30 am Pakistan time on Sunday, April 12, US Vice President (Wapres) JD Vance said the US-Iran peace negotiations in Islamabad failed.

Vance said no agreement was reached in the negotiations and the US delegation in this negotiation left Pakistan this morning as well.
