LRT Jabodebek Users Decrease 10 Percent due to WFA Policy Every Friday
JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) recorded that the number of users of the Jabodebek LRT reached 106,301 people on Friday, April 10, 2026. This figure was down about 10 percent compared to the previous day which reached 118,505 users.
Manager of Public Relations LRT Jabodebek Radhitya Mardika said the decrease in the number of LRT users was the result of the implementation of the Wor From Home (WFH) policy for State Civil Servants (ASN) every Friday.
"On Friday, April 10, KAI served 106,301 users of the Jabodebek LRT. Meanwhile, on Thursday, April 9, 118,505 users of the Jabodebek LRT were recorded, down 12,204 users or about 10 percent," he said as quoted from a written statement, Saturday, April 11.
Radhitya said that the LRT Jabodebek stations that were seen experiencing a decrease in users occurred at stations adjacent to government offices, such as at Kuningan, Setiabudi, Rasuna Said, Cikoko, Pancoran and others.
"The decrease in the volume of LRT Jabodebek users is a direct impact of the WFH work policy for ASN, especially during rush hours," he said.
Even so, he said, to serve Jabodebek LRT users so that they remain optimal, his party still operates a weekday pattern with 430 Jabodebek LRT trips.
According to him, all LRT Jabodebek station facilities and officers remain fully on alert to ensure the comfort of LRT Jabodebek users.
"We are committed to continuing to be a solution for efficient, timely and integrated public transportation," he explained.
