Ace Hasan Syadzily asks for the election of the General Chair of IKAL-Lemhannas to be conducive
JAKARTA - The Governor of the National Resilience Agency (Lemhannas) Ace Hasan Syadzily asked all members of the Alumni Family Association (IKAL)-Lemhannas to carry out the election process for the general chairman in a conducive manner and not to create internal conflicts.
This was conveyed by Ace during a press conference after opening the Extraordinary Meeting of IKAL-Lemhannas at the Lemhannas Building, Central Jakarta, Saturday, April 11.
"I think these participants, because they have been branded as statesmen, will certainly have the best solution in the midst of the differences in the election, that's us," said Ace.
According to him, whoever is later elected as the General Chair of IKAL-Lemhannas must be able to contribute to strengthening national resilience and supporting government strategic programs.
This, said Ace, must be done by the IKAL-Lemhannas ranks considering that they are national leaders who are printed at Lemhannas to advance the nation.
He himself denied the news that circulated that there was a duality between several parties vying for the position of General Chair of IKAL-Lemhannas after the leadership of Agum Gumelar as General Chair of IKAL-Lemhannas.
"So far, there is no duality, yes, everything is within the family of Lemhannas alumni who have cohesion," said Ace.
"God willing, I as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees must continue to ensure that the conditions remain conducive in ensuring that IKAL-Lemhannas is solid in guarding the government's policies and our alma mater," said Ace.
To note, this Munaslub was held after Agum Gumelar resigned from the position of IKAL in January 2026 after previously serving for five periods.
Since then, IKAL has been led by Acting General Chair Mustafa Abubakar until now. Several names have also emerged in the exchange of IKAL's general chairman election. Some of them are the former Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army (KSAD) Dudung Abdulrachman and Mustafa Abubakar.
