From the suspect's hands, police officers secured evidence of two packets of clear crystals suspected to be methamphetamine with a total net weight of 2,008.2 grams.

In addition, one blue goodie bag, a paper bag with the H&M brand, and one mobile phone were also secured.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Narcotics Unit of the Denpasar Police, Kompol I Komang Agus Dharmayana W, said that following up on the information, his team conducted an investigation until finally arresting the suspect in his boarding house.

During the search, which was witnessed by local residents, officers found two packets of methamphetamine hidden in the packaging of used tea bags and clear plastic.

The suspect took the package of methamphetamine in the Buduk area, Mengwi, Badung, after being contacted by phone at the end of March 2026.

The goods were then stored in the boarding house and repackaged to look more neat while waiting for further orders from the controller.

When arrested, said Agus, the suspect had not yet distributed the methamphetamine and admitted that he had not received any wages, although he had previously been given Rp2 million.
