US Vice President Vance Leads Delegation to Pakistan to Attend Iran Peace Talks
JAKARTA - US Vice President (Wapres) JD Vance warned Iran not to mess with the US ahead of the peace talks planned to be held in Islamabad, Pakistan.
Vance said this before departing for Islamabad aboard the Air Force Two vice president's plane at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, USA, Friday, April 10 local time.
"If Iran is willing to negotiate in good faith, we are certainly willing to extend an open hand, that's one thing," he told reporters, quoted from the official White House Rapid Response account @RapidResponse47.

Vance reiterated that Iran should be serious in its plan for peace talks with the US in Islamabad today.
"If they try to play with us, they will find that the negotiating team is not so responsive," he said.
Vance will lead a US delegation consisting of US special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner in US-Iranian peace talks that will discuss extending a two-week ceasefire into a permanent deal.
