Minister of Finance Purbaya Senang, the State Can Add Rp. 11.3 Trillion from the PKH Task Force, Close Part of the Deficit

Jakarta - Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa looks happy because the country has received additional state revenues of Rp. 11.3 trillion from the results of the Forest Area Control Task Force (PKH).

According to him, the money can be used to improve the budget position, including closing part of the deficit and reviving development programs that had been cut. This was conveyed by Minister of Finance Purbaya at the Attorney General's Office, Friday, April 10.

According to Purbaya, the revenue is basically in the PNBP category or non-tax state revenue, although there is a possibility that a small portion comes from taxes. The Minister of Finance Purbaya added that the funds could be allocated for various needs, ranging from support to the prosecutor's office, schools, to a portion for the LPDP.

However, he emphasized that the process was not complete and there was still the potential for additional future. Purbaya also did not want to include the income from the PKH Task Force in the official calculation of the state budget this year.

The reason is that the final target is not clear enough to be recorded as a definite position. However, he said that the addition of PKH as a windfall or a windfall for the government made the budget stronger.
