Seskab Teddy Singgung Pengamat Salah Data, Sebut 96 Juta Rakyat Percaya Prabowo

JAKARTA - Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya alluded to a phenomenon he called "observer inflation", namely the many parties who provide analysis in various fields without being supported by background and data that are in accordance with the facts.

"Now, there is a phenomenon. What is it? There is something called observer inflation. So, there are a lot of observers. There are rice observers, but in the background it's not there. There are military observers, there are foreign observers, and the data of those observers does not match the facts, the data is wrong," said Teddy at the Presidential Palace complex, Jakarta, Friday, April 10.

According to Teddy, there are a number of observers who convey incorrect data and do not match the actual conditions. This phenomenon, he said, has been going on since before Prabowo Subianto served as President, with the aim of influencing public opinion.

"From most of them, the observers are observers who have long tried to influence the people, shape public opinion. Even since Mr. Prabowo has not become president," he said.

Teddy said that this condition was inversely proportional to the level of public confidence. He said that more than 96 million people showed trust in President Prabowo.

Based on the official determination of the General Election Commission (KPU), the number of voters for the pair of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka in the 2024 election is as many as 96,214,691 people.

"The fact is, more than 96 million people trust Mr. Prabowo. They don't trust them. Well, that is a real proof of public trust. Not an assumption," he said.

Teddy emphasized that differences of opinion and criticism were still allowed, but he reminded them not to cause anxiety among the public.

The Secretary of State stated that the current national condition is stable and under control. For this reason, he invited all parties to maintain a good hope for the condition of the country.

"Of course it's not perfect. We accept criticism, we accept input. Well, as soon as possible we perfect it, we maximize it, as soon as possible," he concluded.
