Liliek replaces Anwar Usman as Constitutional Justice, without carrying out special duties

Anwar Usman was replaced by Liliek Prisbawono Adi as a Constitutional Court Judge. The inauguration took place at the State Palace, Jakarta, Friday, April 10.

After the inauguration, Liliek called the appointment a pride and a great responsibility. He also expressed his gratitude to the Supreme Court, especially the Chief Justice Sunarto, who gave him the confidence to occupy the position.

Liliek said that there was no special assignment given to him. The position he is currently holding is to replace Anwar Usman who has served as a constitutional judge for 15 years.

Although he did not elaborate on the detailed vision, Liliek emphasized that his duties had not changed. His main focus remains on the basic role of a constitutional court judge, namely to maintain the constitution.
