Lights Out in Jakarta, PLN Speaks Out

JAKARTA - PT PLN (Persero) through PLN UID Jakarta Raya spoke up regarding the power outage that occurred today, Thursday, April 9.

Senior Manager of Communication and Public Relations of PLN UID Jakarta Raya Haris Andika said that there was a disruption in the supply of electricity in several areas of Jakarta which was sourced from several Substations (GI).

"Currently, the area that is still affected by the blackout is the Angke area and its surroundings," he said in a statement to the media, Thursday, April 9.

He added, currently his party is making gradual normalization efforts. Later, updates related to the condition of electricity services can be delivered through the PLN Mobile application and the PLN 123 Contact Center.

Previously, there was a blackout in a number of areas, one of which was in the Bandengan area of West Jakarta.
