ARKO Raup Net Profit of IDR 63.9 billion Throughout 2025
JAKARTA - PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) recorded a net profit of 52.9 percent to Rp63.9 billion throughout 2025.
The Company's President Commissioner, Arya Pradana Setiadharma, revealed that the Company was able to record revenue of IDR 343.3 billion throughout 2025, or an increase of 43.7 percent year-on-year.
"In terms of operations, the Company recorded electricity production of 151.8 MWh in 2025 or grew by 56.1 percent year-on-year, supported by the start of operation of the Yaentu Project and the Company's commitment to maintaining the continuity of electricity supply," he said in a statement to the media quoted Thursday, April 9.
Arya added, not only focusing on business development, the Company also contributes by reducing greenhouse gases through power plant projects that are sourced from renewable energy.
From 2017 to 2025, the Company has managed to record a reduction in emissions of ±277,241 tons of CO₂eq. After the Tomoni Project and the Pongbembe Project began operating, ARKO estimates that the total emission reduction will increase by ±181,503 tons of CO₂eq per year.
"Thus, the target of Net Zero Emission in 2060 can be achieved faster," continued Arya.
On the other hand, ARKO also managed to obtain a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the Pongbembe Project (20 MW) as the sixth and largest power plant project owned by the Company.
"This PPA is valid for 30 years starting from the project's start of operation and is expected to operate in 2030. The estimated electricity production reaches 97,218 MWh per year, all of which will be absorbed by PLN," said Arya.
