Prabowo Optimistic Indonesia Will Become a "Rising Giant" of the World
President Prabowo Subianto expressed optimism about Indonesia's revival as a major world power or "Rising Giant" when he inaugurated the electric commercial vehicle assembly facility of PT VKTR Sakti Industries in Magelang Regency, Central Java.
Prabowo emphasized that Indonesia has a very strong foundation to face global challenges, especially in the energy sector, assessing that the wealth of natural resources is a great capital to move forward with optimism in the midst of world uncertainty.
"Indonesia is not dark, Indonesia is very bright, we are very strong, stronger, our growth is good. For young people, our future is bright," said the President.
President Prabowo stated that Indonesia is entering a period of great awakening and is no longer a "sleeping giant". With full confidence, the Head of State conveyed a message that Indonesia is now rising and ready to become a global power to be reckoned with.
"Next year we will make a surprise for the whole world, Indonesia is rising. This giant is waking up, we will not be anymore the sleeping giant, we are rising," said the President.
Prabowo emphasized that Indonesia has a very strong foundation to face global challenges, especially in the energy sector. The Head of State assessed that the wealth of natural resources is a great capital to move forward with optimism in the midst of world uncertainty.
"We must be vigilant, but we are optimistic, we will face challenges in the coming months, but we have resources, we have very strong sources, very much, even though how we have to save energy, even though how we have to now move towards clean energy, renewable energy," said the President.
President Prabowo emphasized that food and energy independence are absolute conditions for Indonesia to survive and continue to grow as a great nation.
"A country as big as ours, if it still wants to be independent, if it still wants to survive, it has to be independent in the most decisive areas, including, of course, the most important food, then energy," said the President.
