Transjakarta Expands Royaltrans Seat Booking to All Routes, Can Be Ordered H-7

JAKARTA - PT Transportasi Jakarta is expanding the implementation of the booking seat system (booking seat) on the Royaltrans premium service to all routes. This policy is valid for departures from April 15, 2026, with reservations already available since April 8 through the TJ: Transjakarta application.

This expansion was carried out after the trial on the three previous routes showed a positive response from customers. The booking system is considered to provide seat certainty, as well as making travel more planned, especially for users who routinely move from the buffer area to the city center.

Previously, this feature was applied on the S12 route (BSD Terminal - Fatmawati), S31 (Bintaro Exchange - Fatmawati), and S14 (Summarecon Serpong - Lebak Bulus MRT). From the initial implementation, public interest was considered quite high.

Now, a similar system has been expanded to all Royaltrans routes, including:- Cinere - Kuningan (D31)- Cinere - Senayan Roundabout (D32)- Summarecon Bekasi - Blok M (B13)- Summarecon Bekasi - Kuningan (B14)- Cibubur - Kuningan (6P)- Cibubur - Blok M (1K)- Cibubur - City Hall (1T)

Through the application, customers can order tickets up to seven days before departure, starting at 12.00 WIB. Travel information such as schedules, boarding points, and seat availability is also displayed in real time.

Transjakarta Operations and Safety Director Ayu Wardhani said this expansion was aimed at improving service quality, especially in providing certainty for passengers.

"We present the expansion of Royaltrans seat booking services to provide more certainty and convenience for customers, especially in daily mobility from the buffer area to the city center. Through this system, customers can plan their trip better without worrying about running out of seats," said Ayu in a statement, Thursday, April 9.

In addition, the implementation of this system is also expected to reduce queues and waiting times at the stops, as well as make travel operations more orderly.

"In the future, Transjakarta will continue to develop digital-based services that are adaptive and customer experience-oriented," he said.

In its implementation, the tickets purchased are personal and only valid according to the selected schedule. Passengers are also required to arrive early for the check-in process, with the provisions for cancellation and refund that have been arranged in the application.
