JAKARTA - Alpriado Osmond's name is once again in the public spotlight as a number of issues related to his professional status and legal issues he is facing emerge.

Based on information circulating, Alpriado is said to no longer be affiliated with the RSM Indonesia network.

A number of parties who previously filed an ethics complaint stated that their reports could not be processed further because the person concerned had been inactive since February 28, 2026.

"As of the end of February 2026, the person concerned is no longer working here, so we cannot process the incoming complaints," he said.

However, there was no official statement regarding whether Alpriado resigned or was dismissed from his position.

A representative of a professional organization said that membership status is not necessarily affected by issues outside the practice of the profession.

"As long as it is not directly related to the practice of the accounting profession, it does not automatically affect the membership status," he said.

In addition, Alpriado is also known to be registered with the Indonesian Institute of Public Accountants as another professional organization.

This condition raises public questions regarding the responsibility of professional organizations in following up on alleged violations of their members' code of ethics. Supervision is considered important to maintain the integrity of the profession and public trust.

One of the reporters regretted that there was no clarity on the report that had been submitted.

"We hope there will be transparency and clear follow-up, because this concerns the integrity of the profession and public trust," he said.

This news surfaced amid a number of legal processes that Alpriado Osmond is facing. He is known to be undergoing a divorce lawsuit filed by his wife at the Tangerang District Court (case 26/Pdt.G/2026/PN Tng).

In addition, Alpriado was also associated with reports of alleged intimidation of the family of a pastor who had previously gone viral on social media.

On the other hand, the issue of Alpriado's departure from KAP Amir Abadi Jusuf which is an affiliate of RSM Indonesia raises questions about ethics and integrity in the accounting services industry.
