New Age-Gap Couple, Raihaanun and Maxime Bouttier Join "Tante Sonya" Series
JAKARTA - Rapi Films collaborated with WeTV to present the latest series, Tante Sonya. This series pairs Raihaanun with Maxime Bouttier in the direction of Surya Ardy Octaviand.
Tante Sonya is one of the IP (intellectual property) owned by Rapi Films which became a film in 1994. This time, they will make a reboot in serial format.
"I play the role of Sonya. Sonya is an office employee and is 42 years old. On the way she finds love is difficult for her and meets Ben who makes her open her heart," said Raihaanun in Central Jakarta on Wednesday, April 8.
Pairing up with Raihaanun, Maxime admitted that he already knew the actress so there was no difficulty in forming chemistry for this series.
"I play the role of Ben. Ben is also an employee at his workplace, his subordinate Sonya. The romance story begins to feel sparks through Sonya," said Maxime Bouttier.
"We have known each other for quite some time and have helped in the series. Usually when hanging out, we are serious about talking about the script, jadin's approach is like that," he said.
Aunt Sonya tells Sonya (Raihaanun), a widow without children who is worried about her age entering her forties. Her world changes after she meets Ben (Maxime Bouttier) who is much easier than her.
The Tante Sonya series will soon begin production and is planned to air on WeTV.
