Propam Polda Riau Holds Rakernis 2026 Undang TNI: Supervision is Strengthened, Synergy is Reinforced

JAKARTA - The Riau Police's Professional and Security (Bid Propam) held a Technical Working Meeting (Rakernis) of Internal Propam in 2026 in Pekanbaru as a step to consolidate and strengthen internal oversight functions in the Riau Police environment.

This activity is focused on equalizing perceptions, improving the quality of supervision, and strengthening the integrity and professionalism of personnel in facing the increasingly complex dynamics of police duties.

This internal rakernis becomes a strategic forum to evaluate the implementation of the supervision task so far as well as formulate steps for improvement in the future.

In the forum, the main emphasis was directed at strengthening accountability, accuracy of procedures, and speed in handling any potential violations and problems that arise in the community.

The Head of the Riau Police's Propam, Kombes Harissandi, in his instructions emphasized that the function of internal supervision is the main foundation in maintaining the dignity of the institution. According to him, the quality of supervision will determine the level of public trust in the National Police.

"Propam must be the front line in ensuring that every personnel works according to rules, is professional, and accountable. Strong supervision is not only about enforcement, but also prevention so that every potential violation can be anticipated early on," he said in a written statement, Wednesday, April 8.

After the implementation of Rakernis, the activities continued with the 1447 Hijriah Eid al-Fitr Halal Bihalal which involved the Military Police (POM) TNI. This momentum is used as a space to strengthen relations, strengthen communication, and reaffirm the commitment to synergy between the TNI and the National Police, especially in the function of enforcing discipline and internal supervision.

In an atmosphere of warmth and togetherness, the ranks of the Bid Propam of the Riau Police and the POM TNI emphasized the importance of solidarity between institutions as the key to maintaining regional security stability. The synergy that is built is not only formal, but must also be realized in effective coordination in the field.

Kombes Harissandi said that collaboration between Propam and POM TNI is an important element in ensuring that every implementation of operational tasks runs in accordance with the legal and ethical corridors.

"When supervision is strong and the synergy between institutions is maintained, then security stability will remain under control. That is where public confidence grows and strengthens," he said.

Through this series of activities, it is hoped that the internal strengthening of Propam can go hand in hand with external solidity with the POM TNI, so that it can present an institution that is increasingly professional, reliable, and adaptive in responding to future challenges.
