Seven Speed Motorsport Releases New Pattern for 2026 Season
JAKARTA - Seven Speed Motorsport officially released a new livery and team lineup and is ready to embark on the racing season in this year's calendar.
The racing team owned by Ahmad Dhani's son, Al Ghazali, is very confident of being able to grab the podium in every event they participate in thanks to maintaining the composition of the main riders from previous seasons.
Al said that this is the third year he has been involved in the world of drifting with the Seven Speed team. He also holds the principle of undergoing hard and consistent training for preparation to compete in the arena.
"In this third year, I am personally very ready to face anyone. The most important thing is determination, continuous training, and of course it requires a compact team cooperation," he said in Jakarta.
Seven Speed Motorsport did not experience many changes in the driver line-up for the 2026 competition season. Al Ghazali will continue to be accompanied by Davin Augusta and Ricko Nugraha.
The difference is, this year there will be four riders who will strengthen Seven Speed Motorsport. One new rider who joined Seven Speed Motorsport is Gibran Fauzan.
Gibran will compete in the Novice class (formerly Newgen) in the 2026 racing season. Meanwhile, Al Ghazali will compete in the Pro-Am Class and Davin and Ricko will compete in the Pro Class.
"The composition has not changed because we have trusted the existing riders. It is hoped that the team will be more stable, solid and compact. There is only an addition of Gibran who will go down at Newgen," said Al Ghazali.
Seven Speed Motorsport will follow all the National Drift Championships (Kejurnas) throughout 2026 which will take place in six series, including the Indonesian Drift Series and several other club events.
For international events, Seven Speed Motorsport will take part in the Southeast Asian D1GP event. This is a prestigious racing event that takes place in Jakarta at the end of this year.
Gibran admitted that he was very enthusiastic to finally be able to join Seven Speed Motorsport. He also welcomed this opportunity and promised to give a proud achievement to the team.
"This is a great opportunity for me that I will not waste. I have researched and coincidentally have practiced with Seven Speed Motorsport several times, so it is actually not strange," he said.
