Djokovic Scores Third Win At French Open 2021

JAKARTA - ATP's world number one Novak Djokovic won in the third round of the 2021 French Open after defeating Lithuania's Ricardas Berankis 6-1, 6-4, 6-1, Saturday afternoon, June 5 Paris time.

With the win in one hour 32 minutes, Djokovic strengthened his 4-0 lead in his encounter with the 93rd ranked player.

Brankis hasn't moved against Djokovic, and he hasn't won a set in any of their meetings, Reuters reports.

Djokovic broke his opponent's serve six times in today's match on the Philippe-Chatrier court, and his dominance has also seen him not face a single breakpoint.

The Serb is heading into the fourth round on clay at Roland Garros for the 12th year in a row.

Djokovic, who won the clay Grand Slam title in 2016, scored 30 winners with 18 unforced errors.

Next in the round of 16, Djokovic will face Italy's Lorenzo Musetti, who beat compatriot Marco Cecchinato 3-6, 6-4, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 in the third round.
