Attend the Court Hearing, Zaskia Adya Mecca Disappointed the Court Hearing Was Suddenly Canceled Without Notice

JAKARTA - Celebrity couple Zaskia Adya Mecca and director Hanung Bramantyo had to swallow disappointment after fulfilling a summons to appear in court at the Jakarta Military Court II-08 regarding the alleged violence suffered by one of the employees and his daughter in October 2025.

The reason is, when they arrived at the location, the scheduled hearing was canceled without any prior notification or information to their party.

This disappointment was expressed directly by Zaskia through a post on her personal Instagram account (@zaskiadyamecca). Zaskia told the chronology of events that she thought was very confusing for her as a layman.

In his upload, Zaskia said that he, Hanung Bramantyo, and two witnesses had arrived at the Jakarta Military Court at 09.50 am. Their presence was based on a summons letter received earlier in the week for the next hearing in the 'Faisal and Kala' case.

"Honestly, it was a surprise that this case was still ongoing, because we lost the case update since October," wrote Zaskia, quoted by VOI, Tuesday, April 7.

However, instead of finding a trial, Zaskia's entourage was greeted by a deserted building.

"I was shocked when I got to @pengadilanmiliterjakarta there was no one. There were only servants. The lights in the room were dark," he said.

The poor communication system is further visible when Zaskia and the team try to find information. The officers who were at the location were confused and only answered that there was no trial that day and it was likely to be postponed the next day.

The peak of confusion occurred when Zaskia's party tried to confirm directly with the party who sent the court call message via WhatsApp. The answer received was far from professional.

"In the WhatsApp to the sender of the summons to the hearing, the answer was, 'oh? Is the hearing canceled?'," wrote Zaskia, imitating the reply to the message.

Due to this incident, Zaskia questioned the professionalism of the trial. He felt very disadvantaged, considering that to attend the trial he had to travel a long distance and cancel other work schedules.

"Who should have told us that the trial was canceled? Then when will it be rescheduled? ... Isn't this trial a matter involving many people? Why if the people involved and called are canceled, they are forgotten? Is this a common thing in military trials?" he asked in a disappointed tone.

Zaskia's post also immediately triggered a reaction from netizens. Many regretted the incident and highlighted the standards of public service.
