Carry Transparency, SPPG in NTB Asked to Publish MBG Menu on Social Media

JAKARTA - The Central Lombok District Attorney's Office (Kejari) asked the managers of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) to actively publicize the free nutritious food menu (MBG) on their respective social media (medsos) as a form of transparency.

"We urge all SPPG in Central Lombok to publish the MBG menu served every day on social media," said Head of Central Lombok District Attorney's Office Intelligence, Alfa Dera, in Central Lombok, Tuesday.

He said that according to the leadership's instructions, the prosecutor's office has a directive role in supporting the Asta Cita program of President Prabowo Subianto, one of which is the MBG program which has begun to be distributed to the public.

"We will continue to support this MBG program so that the implementation is in accordance with the rules," he said.

Therefore, his party is carrying out supervision with preventive measures and reporting every day, both the conditions in the field and the targets of the program.

"This program continues to receive supervision from all parties," he said.

He said that the MBG menu served, if published on their respective social media, could increase transparency and the public could monitor the program to ensure it complies with the provisions.

"This means that the public is also involved in overseeing this MBG program if the menu served is still uploaded on social media. This is part of the transparency of the SPPG manager, if the program is carried out according to the rules," he said.

His party remains open and ready to follow up if there are reports from the public regarding criminal acts in the MBG program. However, what is reported must be clarified and supplemented with complete evidence.

"We are still ready to receive reports if there are any from the community," he said.

Previously, the Coordinator of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) for the Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) M Ikhsan stated that the temporary suspension of operations of dozens of SPPGs was to maintain the quality of MBG.

"The temporary closure of the SPPG was carried out because it did not comply with the operational standards, namely it did not have a Wastewater Disposal Facility (Ipal) and did not have a Certificate of Sanitary Hygiene (SLHS)," he said.

This is a complaint from people living around the location of the SPPG and reports are still being received regarding the environmental impact of waste odors.

Therefore, his party hopes that the SPPG partners will soon propose the management of SLHS and the improvement of Ipal in accordance with the Decree of the Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) of the Republic of Indonesia number 401.1 in 2025 regarding technical instructions for the management of the Free Nutritious Food (MBG) program in the 2026 fiscal year.

"This goal is to anticipate risks that can be caused to the quality of production, nutritional quality, and menu safety in the MBG program," he said.

He said based on the data of the SPPG that was temporarily stopped, there were 300 SPPGs in the NTB region and for the Central Lombok region, there were 80 SPPGs spread across 12 sub-districts in Central Lombok.

"Of the 168 kitchens in Central Lombok, 80 SPPG were temporarily stopped," he said.
