Neighbor Does Not Know Himself: Numpang Makan, Rp500 Thousand Palak Then Keroyok Owner of the Feast until Dead

BANDUNG - Not only asking for money, a group of thugs suspected of being involved in a fatal incident at a wedding party in Kertamukti Village, Campaka District, Purwakarta Regency, West Java, were also said to have drained the food for the feast, triggering a commotion that ended in a beating of the host.

The victim, Dadang (54), the owner of the party, was killed after being mobbed during the event at his residence, Saturday, April 4 afternoon. Ironically, one of the perpetrators was allegedly a neighbor of the victim himself.

"Take food many times, only meat is taken," said the victim's wife when talking to West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi, quoted from the Kang Dedi Mulyadi Channel YouTube channel, Tuesday, April 7.

He also said that one of the perpetrators named Kendi Renaldi (34) was not a foreigner, but a neighbor who even participated in the committee of the party. "Once again, Kendi is a neighbor," he said.

Based on initial information, about 10 men came to the location in a state of being drunk. They had received Rp. 100,000, but asked for an additional Rp. 500,000. The request was rejected by the family, which triggered the tension.

The situation then heated up. The victim was chased out of the party tent and mobbed in the area next to the house. Dadang was unconscious before he was finally declared dead.

Currently, the case is still under investigation by the police. The apparatus continues to hunt for other perpetrators suspected of being involved in the beating.
