April 7 weather: Light rain dominates a number of areas of Sumatra to Papua
JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in most areas in Indonesia will be light rain on Tuesday, April 7.
Based on the BMKG official website, Antara quoted Tuesday morning, said that light-intensity rain was predicted to occur in the cities of Jakarta, Ambon, Bandar Lampung, Bandung, Banjarbaru, Bengkulu, Denpasar, Gorontalo, Jambi, Jayawijaya, and Kendari.
The weather in other areas, such as in Kupang City, Mamuju, Mataram, Nabire, Palangka Raya, Palu, Pangkal Pinang, Pontianak, Samarinda, Semarang, Serang, Surabaya, Tanjung Pinang, Tanjung Selor, and Yogyakarta, is also expected to be showered with light intensity rain.
BMKG predicts cloudy weather in Banda Aceh, Jayapura, Makassar, Manado, Merauke, Padang, Pekanbaru, Sofifi, and Sorong.
Moderate intensity rain is predicted to occur in Manokwari and Medan.
The public is asked to be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning in Palembang City today.
