PSV Wins Third Eredivisie Title in a Row after Feyenoord Draw

JAKARTA - PSV Eindhoven was crowned Eredivisie champion for the third consecutive year and 27th time overall after their closest rivals, Feyenoord, failed to win on Sunday, April 5, 2026.

With five games remaining, PSV have an unassailable 17-point lead in the Dutch top-flight.

They won 4-3 against Utrecht on Saturday, April 4, 2026, and secured the title after Feyenoord, who were in second place, were held to a 0-0 draw at Volendam's home a day later.

The results of this weekend make PSV the fastest team to win the Eredivisie title based on the calendar date (breaking the previous record set on April 8, 1978).

It also marked the fastest Eredivisie title win based on the number of matches played since Feyenoord in 1998/1999.

This title is the 24th title for PSV since the start of the Eredivisie in the 1956/1957 season and the 12th since the turn of the century, more often than any other team since 2001.

Ajax are second on the list with nine Eredivisie titles.
