Elnusa Targets Operational Efficiency of up to 25 Percent Throughout 2026

JAKARTA - PT Elnusa Tbk (ELSA) targets operational efficiency throughout 2026 to 2026.

Elnusa President Director Litta Ariesca said that this strategy is focused on developing marginal fields through technology-based efficiency and innovation approaches.

"In the future, we will focus as a low-cost operator to work on marginal fields. We target that the operating activities can be 15 percent to 20 percent even up to 25 percent more efficient compared to current oil and gas operations," said Litta Ariesca, Monday, April 6.

This strategic step is also a response to the volatility of world oil prices, global geopolitical dynamics, and support for the government's target of achieving a national production of 1 million barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and 12 billion standard cubic feet of gas per day (BSCFPD).

"This transformation is not only about introducing new technology, but how to build a work ecosystem where every Elnusa officer is able to think faster, safer, and more efficiently in carrying out operations," added Litta.

In supporting the implementation of this strategy, Elnusa continues to strengthen its upstream oil and gas service capabilities which include an integrated ecosystem ranging from geoscience, seismic surveys, drilling, to the optimization of existing fields.

The Company is also actively forging synergies with Pertamina Group entities, including Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) and Pertamina Technology, Innovation & Infrastructure (TI&I).

One of the innovations developed is the vibroseis technology for Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) as well as the use of Inline Inspection (ILI) tools to ensure the reliability of the national oil and gas pipeline network of more than 21,000 km.

"Through ILI technology, we can carry out early detection of pipe conditions, so that maintenance actions can be carried out in a timely manner before potential leaks occur," explained Litta.

In addition to strengthening its core business, Elnusa also continues to encourage business diversification, including the development of seismic survey services for the non-oil and gas sector as well as international market expansion through the delivery of Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG), including to Algeria.

"This success is the result of the application of the principles of operational excellence and end-to-end integration across all business lines. In the future, we will continue to upgrade technology to contribute optimally to national production targets while maintaining business sustainability," concluded Litta.
