Change Identity to Inarasati, Inara Rusli Ready to Comeback as a Singer

JAKARTA - Artist Inara Rusli brought surprising news regarding her identity on the entertainment stage. She announced that she had changed her stage name as well as changing her signature on the Population Identification Card (KTP).

"The original name is not (changed). It's still Ina Idola Rusli. But the name on social media is the same as the stage Inarasati," said Inara when talking on the Kacamata Nanda YouTube channel, quoted Monday, April 6.

The change of stage name is not without reason. Inara attached a word from Sanskrit that has a deep meaning related to her current phase of life.

"So Sati here is Sanskrit, which means mindfulness, enough, full, and also means loyalty. A loyal person, a person who is honest with himself, and a person who is honest. So, this is also a reminder for myself," he explained.

In addition to the stage name, Inara also firmly changed her signature on the ID card on the advice of a colleague.

"There is a wise friend who gives advice. So as the words are prayers, so too are the signatures," said Inara laughing.

Along with his new identity, Inarasati revealed his plans to return to working in the entertainment industry. The former member of the girlband plans to release a musical work in the near future.

"Insyaallah in the future I want to try to make a song, start to sing again. Because I actually used to be, from SMP, I really like writing lyrics and poems," he said.

Inara's writings on social media apparently attracted the attention of the music industry. The pop ballad genre was also chosen as the identity of her music later.

"Alhamdulillah yesterday, because I often put it in the caption of my post, there are music producers who are interested and inspired to make it into a song. Most of the lyrics are from my own work. The song is melodic, but more reflective and self-reflection," concluded Inara.
