South Kalimantan Police (Kalsel), committed to realizing the recruitment of clean and transparent members of the National Police through the signing of an integrity pact in the 2026 Fiscal Year Integrated Admission of the National Police.
"This activity is the main emphasis in ensuring that the selection process runs according to the principles of Clean, Transparent, Accountable, and Humanist (BETAH), and is free from cheating practices," said Head of the Tanah Laut Police AKBP Ricky Boy Siallagan in Pelaihari, Sunday.
He emphasized that all stages of the selection must be carried out professionally and openly without the intervention of any party.
"This selection is free and does not charge any fees. Don't believe those who promise graduation. If there are indications of violations, immediately report it," he said.
He said the signing of the integrity pact was previously carried out online through a zoom meeting led by the South Kalimantan Police Chief, then continued at the Tanah Laut Police level.
Activities at the level of the Police were attended by the committee, selection participants, and representatives of parents as a form of transparency and joint supervision in the recruitment process.
He said that as many as 113 people applied for the selection, with 101 people declared to meet the administrative requirements to proceed to the next stage.
The Police Chief also reminded the participants to remain focused on their ability to undergo each stage of the selection.
"Like archery, don't focus on the medal because it will make the target blurry. Live every stage with the best ability, and leave the results to God Almighty," he said.
In addition, internal supervision and community involvement are expected to be able to maintain the integrity of the selection process so that it remains objective and fair.
Representatives of parents of participants also provided support for the implementation of open and free-of-charge selection.

According to him, with a common commitment, the Tanah Laut Police are optimistic that the 2026 Polri member recruitment process will be able to produce a generation of Bhayangkara who are professional, have integrity, and are ready to serve the community.
