26-Year-Old Woman Killed by Container Truck on Martadinata Jakut Road

JAKARTA - A motorcyclist named Atilla (26) was killed after falling and being hit by a container truck on Jalan Martadinata, Pademangan, North Jakarta.

The Head of the Traffic Police Sub-Directorate of Traffic Police, AKBP Ojo Ruslani, said the victim died on the way to the hospital after being seriously injured in an accident that occurred on Saturday (4/4).

"As a result of the traffic accident, the driver suffered injuries and died on the way to the hospital," said Ojo when confirmed in Jakarta, Sunday.

Ojo explained that the accident began when the victim's motorcycle was traveling on Jalan Martadinata from east to west.

"Upon arrival near the Crab Market, the victim's motorcycle slipped and fell," said Ojo.

After that, the victim was hit by the left rear wheel of the trailer vehicle with the police number B-9429-UIW which was driven by a man named Kadir.

The truck was traveling in the same direction as the victim's motorcycle.

"As a result of the traffic accident, the rider suffered injuries, and died on the way to the hospital," concluded Ojo.
