Pami Tagih Ganti Rugi Air Mata Lewat Single Terbaru “Cry Jar”

JAKARTA - Thai singer and songwriter, pami, is back to greet fans with the release of his latest single titled "cry jar".

This release is a special momentum because it coincides after he was named "Best Hidden Gem of the Year" in the TOTY Music Awards in Thailand.

Under the Juicey label, pami tries to explore the sarcastic side of a relationship through a light pop music cover but has a deep meaning about the price of a broken heart.

In his latest work, pami introduces a unique concept in the form of an emotional compensation jar. This song challenges the listener to reevaluate the wounds caused by a partner in a more measured way.

Through his sharp lyrics, pami describes that every tear that falls due to the actions of a couple is a loss that must be paid off. He wants to turn the pain of heartbreak, which is usually abstract, into something that has a certain value as a form of accountability.

"If you don't want to try in love, then fine! Pay the price. Every time you make me cry, the tears go into the jar as proof that the pain doesn't disappear - it just builds up," the pami said in his statement, Sunday, April 5.

The creative process of "cry jar" itself takes place quite differently, where this song was written while pami was attending a song camp in Sydney, Australia. The new environment in the Kangaroo Country gave pami fresh inspiration to create a contrast between a cheerful melody and lyrics that hit the nail on the head.

Although it sounds sweet and easy-listening, pami insists that this song is a dark joke for those who often underestimate their partner's feelings.

"I don't want this song to feel heavy or dramatic. I want this song to be a dark joke that reflects reality: if someone keeps hurting you without caring, the damage has its price," he added, emphasizing the sarcasm of his new single.

Pami's name has been on the rise in Thailand since his debut in 2024 through the EP "out of nowhere". His popularity skyrocketed after releasing the full album "puffette" in 2025 which was warmly welcomed by listeners.

As one of the young soloists in Asia, pami has been recorded to have performed on various big festival stages, ranging from LaLaLa Festival in Indonesia, BiKN Shibuya in Japan, to Zandari Festa in South Korea.

With the release of "cry jar", pami further cemented his position as a musician who dares to experiment with honest but still entertaining relational themes.
