Russia Ready to Help Settle US-Iran: Divert Military Situation to the Peace Track
JAKARTA - Russia has expressed its readiness to help reconcile the US-Israeli war against Iran, which has caused the world's oil and gas prices to soar.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said President Vladimir Putin is continuing to communicate with regional leaders about the possibility.
"The president continues to make these contacts, and if our services are needed, of course we are ready to contribute to ensuring that the military situation switches to a peaceful path as soon as possible," Peskov told reporters, Thursday, April 2, quoted by Reuters.
Previously reported, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty is scheduled to meet with Putin today in Russia.
In addition to discussing the improvement of bilateral relations, Peskov said the two were scheduled to hold talks focused on the US-Israeli war against Iran.
