Egyptian Foreign Minister Visits Russia to Meet Putin to Discuss Iran War

JAKARTA - Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty departed for Russia on Wednesday evening, April 1. He is scheduled to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin today.

Citing Al Jazeera, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the two were scheduled to hold talks focused on the US-Israeli war against Iran.

In addition, Abdelatty and Putin will discuss improving bilateral relations between the two countries.

During the visit, Abdelatty is also scheduled to hold a series of meetings with senior Russian government officials to discuss ways to increase bilateral cooperation and exchange views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
