POCO X8 Pro Series Officially Arrives in Indonesia, Flagship Performance Starts at Rp4 Million
JAKARTA - After a long wait, POCO finally officially launched the POCO X8 Pro Series to the Indonesian market, consisting of the POCO X8 Pro Max, POCO X8 Pro, to the special edition POCO X8 Pro Iron Man Edition.
In terms of performance, the POCO X8 Pro Max uses a 3nm-based Dimensity 9500s chipset, with an AnTuTu score of over 3 million points. This performance is supported by LPDDR5X RAM up to 9600Mbps and UFS 4.1 storage for fast and stable response.
Meanwhile, the POCO X8 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 8500-Ultra which offers up to 25 percent performance improvement in GPU with better power efficiency. Both devices also support hardware-level ray tracing for a more realistic gaming visual experience.
To maintain stability when used, the POCO X8 Pro Max uses a 5,800mm² POCO 3D IceLoop Cooling System, while the POCO X8 Pro is equipped with a 5,300mm² dual-layer cooling system to keep the temperature optimal when playing heavy games.
On the power side, the POCO X8 Pro Max is equipped with an 8,500mAh silicon-carbon-based battery that is claimed to last up to two days of use. Meanwhile, the POCO X8 Pro comes with a 6,500mAh battery. All lines support 100W HyperCharge technology as well as 27W reverse charging features.
In terms of appearance, the POCO X8 Pro Max carries a 6.83-inch screen, while the POCO X8 Pro is 6.59 inches, with a peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits. This panel is also equipped with 3840Hz PWM dimming technology and TÜV Rheinland certification to maintain eye comfort.
Audio features are also an added value, especially on the POCO X8 Pro Max which is equipped with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support, as well as a volume increase feature of up to 400 percent.
The POCO X8 Pro Max uses a metal frame and fiberglass material, while the POCO X8 Pro comes with a glass back. Both are equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection and IP66, IP68, and IP69K water and dust resistance certification.
Meanwhile, in terms of cameras, the POCO X8 Pro Max has a 50MP Light Fusion 600 main camera with OIS, while the POCO X8 Pro uses a 50MP OIS Sony IMX882 sensor. Both are supported by AI features such as UltraSnap and AI Creativity Assistant for image capture and processing.
All of the POCO X8 Pro series are equipped with Xiaomi HyperOS 3 which presents features such as HyperConnect and HyperIsland. Google Gemini and Circle to Search integration also complete the user experience.
In addition, POCO also presents a collaboration variant with Marvel through the POCO X8 Pro Iron Man Edition. This model carries a distinctive design inspired by the Iron Man armor, complete with a special interface themed for the character.
