LRT Jabodebek Users Reach 2.5 Million in March 2026

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) recorded a significant increase in the number of users of the Jabodebek LRT throughout March 2026. The total number of users reached 2,510,352 people, an increase of 22% compared to the same period in 2025 with 2,056,759 users.

This increase shows the role of the Jabodebek LRT in supporting community mobility in urban areas, as well as indicating the effectiveness of more efficient public transportation utilization.

"The average daily user on weekdays (weekday) is recorded at 113,490 users, and on weekends (weekend) at 41,502 users. This explains that the Jabodebek LRT is trusted as a means of transportation that connects residential areas with activity centers in Jabodebek," said Manager of Public Relations LRT Jabodebek, Radhitya Mardika.

In terms of user movement, Dukuh Atas Station is the highest mobility node, both as a departure point and destination. Where the Dukuh Atas Station area has a role as an integration hub for public transportation in Jakarta, such as KRL, Airport Train, MRT Jakarta, TransJakarta, and others. The 5 stations with the highest user volume during March 2026 are:

* Dukuh Atas: 731.577 users

* Harjamukti: 578,422 users

* Kuningan: 440.225 users

* Cikoko: 419,772 users

* Pancoran: 358.149 users

The high volume of LRT Jabodebek users is also reflected in the daily volume which exceeds 120 thousand users on a number of days in March 2026 which confirms the role of LRT Jabodebek as the main mode of public mobility in the Jabodebek area.

The largest user volume was recorded on March 11, 2026 with 129,509 users in one day. In addition, several other days also recorded volumes above 120 thousand users, including on March 2, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, and 30, 2026.

In the period of March 2026 which coincides with the month of Ramadan, LRT Jabodebek also provides service flexibility by allowing users to break the fast in the train or station area at Maghrib until 19.00 WIB. This policy is part of efforts to maintain user comfort without disrupting operational efficiency.
