Skinny-bodied scavenger dies, police find Geliga muscle balm not far from his body

JAKARTA - An elderly man was found dead in a disturbing state with a thin body condition in an empty shed, Jalan Sunda Kelapa, Pademangan, North Jakarta.

When the crime scene was carried out by members of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sunda Kelapa Police, no identity was found on the victim's body, making it difficult to identify.

The police also appealed to the public who recognize the victim to immediately come to the Sunda Kelapa Area Police.

"The discovery began when the Criminal Investigation Unit received information that a man had died in a state of nudity at the crime scene," said the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sunda Kelapa Police, Iptu Indra Basuki, when confirmed, Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

When found, the victim was lying on his back on the bed and the victim's condition was stiff. The victim is estimated to be around 70 years old and works as a collector of used goods.

"The victim usually likes to drink coffee at a warung not far from where he sleeps, but on the date of the incident he was not seen drinking coffee for almost all day. One of the people at the coffee shop who was curious then went to check his bed behind Nanang's warung, but it turned out that the victim was found to be lifeless," he said.

From the results of the examination, officers did not find any signs of violence on the body of the elderly, known as Karmo.
