Elderly Obese Stuck on the 3rd Floor of his House in Pademangan Jakut

JAKARTA - Members of the Pademangan Police and damkar officers managed to evacuate an elderly man aged 67 years old who was lying ill on his house in Pademangan District, North Jakarta. The elderly also suffered from obesity, or excessive weight.

The victim was forced to be evacuated because he could not get down from the 3rd floor of his house on Jalan Pademangan 3, Kelurahan Pademangan Timur.

"We are together with the fire service to evacuate a 67-year-old man who is ill," said East Pademangan Sub-sector Police, Ipda Jenal Mustopa when confirmed, Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

After receiving a report from the victim's family, the police immediately went to the resident's house.

In addition, the police also coordinated with the local damkar to help the process of evacuating the sick residents.

According to Ipda Jenal, the process of evacuating the residents who were sick was carried out on Tuesday night, March 31, 2036 at around 20.30 WIB.

"So Bhabinkamtibmas members received a report that there was a sick person on the 3rd floor who needed to be evacuated immediately to be taken to the hospital," he said.

The process of evacuating the victim was completed at 21.30 WIB. The evacuation process was hampered by access to the 3rd floor of the victim's house which was narrow.

"The stairs on the 3rd floor, the handle had to be thrown away, so that it could be manuper. There is a jerujinya," he said.

When evacuated, the victim was still alive and taken by the family to Husada Hospital for further treatment.
