BPS Distribution and Services Statistics Deputy Ateng Hartono explained that the increase was mainly driven by the growth of non-oil and gas exports (non-migas), especially from several flagship commodities.

"The increase in export value in February 2026 yoy was driven by an increase in non-oil and gas exports, namely in several commodities, namely commodities, especially animal/vegetable fats and oils, which rose quite high at 16.19 percent. This contributed to an increase in total exports by 2.17 percent compared to an increase in total exports," he said at the Trade Balance Press Conference, Wednesday, April 1.
