Ask the Ministry of Culture Apparatus to Change Work Patterns, the Minister of Culture Says Energy Efficiency Cannot Be Delayed
JAKARTA - Minister of Culture (Menbud) Fadli Zon asked the apparatus of the Ministry of Culture not to work with the old pattern. In the midst of global turmoil that is pressing the energy and economic sectors, efficiency and sensitivity to the crisis cannot be delayed anymore.
The message was conveyed by Menbud Fadli at the Reflection and Strengthening the Spirit of Cultural Development event in the Main Hall, the Culture Ministry Complex, Jakarta, Tuesday, March 31. This activity was held as a follow-up to President Prabowo Subianto's instructions regarding support for energy efficiency.
In his remarks, Fadli said the momentum of Idulfitri was used to strengthen mutual relations and reaffirm the intention to work for the advancement of culture. However, what he highlighted was not only the atmosphere of togetherness, but also a change in the way of working to be more energy efficient and more sensitive to the global situation.
"We must have a sense of crisis regarding the current global situation," said Fadli. He emphasized that efficiency, including in the use of energy and work patterns, needs to be implemented through a more adaptive scheme, including working from home at certain times so that performance remains optimal and responsive to developments.
Menbud Fadli also emphasized that strengthening the work ethic is an important part of accelerating cultural advancement. According to Fadli, the Ministry of Culture must be able to become the main engine in the national cultural ecosystem. Therefore, collaboration with various stakeholders, from local governments to cultural communities, is considered important to expand the impact of the program.
Secretary General of the Ministry of Culture Bambang Wibawarta said this activity was also a space to reflect the commitment of the apparatus in carrying out cultural development tasks. He invited all levels to strengthen togetherness and synergy so that cultural work can continue.
The event was attended by the leadership and employees of the Ministry of Culture, including Deputy Minister of Culture Giring Ganesha Djumaryo, Inspector General Fryda Lucyana, and the directors general.
