Audi S3 Tebaru Officially Launched in Indonesia for IDR 1.6 Billion

JAKARTA - Audi Indonesia officially introduced The New Audi S3 which now appears more aggressive, precise, and has a more personal character. The latest generation, the improvements are carried out thoroughly, covering design, driving dynamics, to increasingly intuitive and connected technology.

"The New Audi S3 represents the evolution of Audi Sport, highlighting the distinctive Audi character that is increasingly connected with today's drivers. Through a combination of technologies such as quattro all-wheel drive and torque splitter," said Chief Operating Officer of Audi Indonesia, Edo Januarko Chandra, quoted Tuesday, March 31.

In terms of appearance, The New Audi S3 carries a more assertive S line design language with lower and wider body proportions. The front is dominated by a singleframe frameless grille with a sharper new structure, combined with a large air intake and an L-shaped element that strengthens the Audi Sport identity.

Meanwhile, the back features four characteristic S-model tailpipes that emphasize its performance character, supported by lighting innovations in the form of four digital daytime running light signatures that can be adjusted to the driver's preferences.

Entering the performance sector, this sedan is equipped with a 2.0 TFSI engine that is capable of producing 245 kW (333 PS) of power and 420 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h can be achieved in 4.7 seconds, with a faster engine response thanks to improvements to the turbocharging system and 7-speed S tronic transmission.

The all-wheel drive quattro system ensures optimal power distribution, now combined with torque splitter technology that can actively regulate torque distribution on the rear wheels to produce more agile and stable handling.

The driving experience is richer through Audi drive select which offers six driving modes, including dynamic plus mode for the most aggressive driving sensation. The braking system is also strengthened with larger ventilated disc brakes on the front wheels.

Inside the cabin, the driver-oriented feel is strong with a combination of premium materials and digital technology. The Audi virtual cockpit plus and 10.1-inch touch screen with MMI Navigation plus provide a seamlessly connected driving experience. The S sport seats with integrated headrests provide comfort and ergonomic support, plus ambient lighting that further reinforces the modern impression.

For safety aspects, The New Audi S3 is equipped with various driving assistance features such as Lane Departure Warning, Surround View Cameras, Side Assist with Exit Warning, and Rear Cross-Traffic Assist which are designed to increase safety in various conditions.

In Indonesia, The New Audi S3 is offered at a price of IDR 1.698 billion (OTR Jakarta). Audi also includes after-sales services in the form of periodic service for up to 3 years or 90,000 km, a vehicle warranty for 2 years without mileage restrictions, and 24-hour Emergency Roadside Assistance (ERA).
