KPK Immediately Call Fadia Arafiq's Husband and Child, Investigate Rp19 Billion Hot Money Flow
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has given a strong signal that it will soon examine the husband and children of the non-active Pekalongan Regent, Fadia Arafiq.
This examination is part of the development of the investigation related to the alleged flow of corrupt funds that ensnared the politician and former singer.
Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK, Asep Guntur Rahayu, emphasized that the summoning of Fadia's family was only a matter of time.
Investigators are currently preparing a schedule to delve into the role of Fadia's closest people in the vortex of this case.
"This is waiting for when and who he calls. Later we will inform you," said Asep, Monday, March 30.
This case began with the Operation Catch the Hand (OTT) carried out by the anti-corruption agency on March 3, 2026 in Semarang, Central Java.
Fadia was arrested along with his aides and trusted people, followed by the arrest of 11 other people from the Pekalongan area.
This operation is recorded as the seventh OTT held by the KPK throughout 2026, which coincides with the momentum of the holy month of Ramadan 1447 Hijriah.
The KPK has named Fadia Arafiq as the sole suspect in the alleged corruption case in the procurement of outsourcing services or manpower in the Pekalongan Regency in the 2023-2026 fiscal year.
Fadia is suspected of triggering a conflict of interest by winning her family's company, PT Raja Nusantara Berjaya (RNB), in a number of procurement projects.
From this practice, the family of the singer of the song "Cik Cik Bum Bum" is suspected of reaping profits of up to Rp19 billion.
Based on the KPK's records, as much as Rp. 13.7 billion was enjoyed directly by Fadia and his family, while Rp. 2.3 billion flowed into the Director of PT RNB who also had the status of a household assistant (ART) named Rul Bayatun, and the remaining Rp. 3 billion was the result of cash withdrawals that had not been distributed.
