At This Vocational School, The Changing Room Is Prepared Before Face-to-face Learning Belajar
JAKARTA - Sudirman 2 Vocational High School (SMK) in Cijantung, East Jakarta, has prepared a changing room for face-to-face learning activities (PTM).
"The goal is for students and teachers who use public transportation to be asked to change their free clothes with uniforms in the room before participating in learning activities in the classroom," said Principal of SMKS PB Soedirman 2 Ikah Atikah as quoted by Antara, Friday, June 4.
The policy is a step in implementing health protocols (prokes) including in this case checking the temperature of both students and teachers, washing hands, filling in health information data.
Ikah also said that after teaching and learning activities, all classrooms were sprayed with disinfectant.
Face-to-face schools began to be held gradually and were limited from 1,000 schools in DKI, only being filtered to 100 schools that could hold face-to-face learning, one of which was SMK PB Sudirman 2.
"Since April 7, 2021, in accordance with the circular from the Education Office, only 100 schools have been selected, one of which is our school is allowed for face-to-face learning after passing several requirements," said Ikah.
Ikah said that in order to be selected schools must pass the verification of the stage 1 assessment and stage 2 assessments from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Education Office.
Face-to-face schools run with strict health protocols with the number of students limited to only 30 percent of the class capacity, learning hours are also divided into two sessions, each session lasting only four hours every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
"Besides, we first get approval from the parents of the students," said Ikah.
Ikah said the majority of SMK PB Sudirman 2 agreed to attend face-to-face schools.
According to him, face-to-face learning is very useful for students and teachers to facilitate teaching and learning, especially in vocational productive lessons.
"Because Vocational High School actually has a lot of practice. So, for face-to-face lessons, the priority is on productive subjects," added Ikah.
