Pertamax Prices as of April 1 Reach Rp17,850 per Liter, Pertamina: Cannot Be Held Responsible

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) spoke up regarding the projection of Pertamina's fuel prices on the X social media.

In several uploads on the X social media, there are projections of fuel prices that have jumped dramatically, such as Pertamax, which is projected to reach Rp. 17,850 on April 1.

Responding to this information, Vice President (VP) of Corporate Communication PT Pertamina (Persero) Muhammad Baron said that the information circulating was a hoax and could not be held accountable.

"The information on the projected increase in fuel prices that is circulating cannot be accounted for, to date there has been no official announcement regarding the price as of April 1, 2026," Baron said when confirmed, Monday, March 30.

Baron said that the official price of Pertamina's fuel can only be accessed through the official channel www.pertamina.com.

On the other hand, Pertamina also supports the government's appeal for the public to use energy wisely.

For information, in the upload it is stated that the Perta,ax price spike has increased by Rp5,500 per liter from Rp12,300 to Rp17,850 per liter.

Meanwhile, Pertamax Green 95 rose by Rp6,250 from the previous Rp12,900 to Rp19,850 per liter.

Meanwhile, Pertamax Turbo experienced an increase of Rp6,350 from the previous Rp13,100 to Rp19,450 per liter.

The biggest spike was seen in the diesel series.

It is listed if Pertamina Dex is expected to increase by Rp9,450 from the previous Rp14,500 to Rp23,950 per liter.

Meanwhile, Dexlite rose by Rp9,450 per liter from the previous Rp14,200 per liter to Rp23,650 per liter.
