Talks Emerge on US Military Base Across Israel
JAKARTA - The Israeli government is reportedly proposing that the United States (US) build its military bases throughout the Zionist region.
Pro-Israel media, Channel 12, reported the Israeli government's proposal considering that the US military base in the Middle East was destroyed by Iran's retaliatory attack.
According to the media, the US military bases throughout Israel are to build a new presence amid "ongoing security challenges".
The US military bases in the Middle East are in Muslim-majority countries, such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Jordan.
After the US-Israel launched a massive attack on Tehran starting from February 28, 2026, Iran retaliated by firing missiles and drones at US military assets in the Middle East with the aim of eliminating the US military's radar network and logistics systems.
US bases in the Middle East are known to often be the foundation of attacks on Iran.
Most recently, Iran attacked a US military base at Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia, in response to the US-Israeli attack on Iran's civilian industrial infrastructure.
In the attack last weekend, a photo of an E-3 AWACS reconnaissance plane was circulated, which was split into two parts by an Iranian missile.
The E-3 AWACS aircraft serves as a flying command center that can detect aircraft, missiles and drones from a distance.
One unit is estimated to cost up to 600 million US dollars.
