SPT 2025 Reporting Reaches 9.7 Million, Still Below the Target of 15 Million
JAKARTA - The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) of the Ministry of Finance reported that as of March 29, 2026, the number of reports of the Annual Income Tax (PPh) Notification Letter (SPT) for the 2025 Tax Year was recorded at 9,751,452 SPT.
For your information, the DJP targets a total of 15.2 million tax returns for the 2025 tax year. This means that the realization that has been achieved so far is in the range of 63.8 percent of the target.
Director of Extension, Services, and Public Relations of the DJP, Inge Diana Rismawanti, explained that the number consisted of Personal Taxpayers (OP) Employees with 8,562,326 SPT, Non-Employee OP 988,464 SPT, Taxpayers in rupiah currency 198,788 SPT, and Taxpayers in US dollar currency 140 SPT.
Meanwhile, for taxpayers with different fiscal years (which began to be reported since August 1, 2025), 1,713 SPT Bodies in rupiah and 21 SPT Bodies in US dollars were recorded.
He added that as the reporting of Annual Income Tax Statements increased, the activation and utilization of Coretax accounts also experienced significant growth.
On the other hand, the progress of activating the Coretax DJP account also shows significant achievements, namely, as of the same date, the number of taxpayers who have activated the account has reached 17,189,768 taxpayers.
The number consists of 16,135,564 Personal Taxpayers, 963,517 Taxpayers, 90,460 Government Agency Taxpayers, and 227 Trade Taxpayers through the Electronic System (PMSE).
As is known, starting January 1, 2025, the official annual tax return reporting will be carried out through the latest tax administration system, namely the Coretax System.
