Huawei Pura 90 Pro is Predicted to Improve Zoom Photography with LOFIC Technology

JAKARTA - Huawei is rumored to be preparing a camera upgrade for the Huawei Pura 90 line, especially on the Pro model. The latest leak from tipster Smart Pikachu mentions that the company is testing LOFIC (lateral overflow integration capacitor) technology for a telephoto lens, which is predicted to improve photo quality in both bright and low light conditions.

LOFIC works by storing excess light temporarily so that the camera sensor is not overwhelmed, then utilizing it in a controlled manner. In bright conditions, this technology helps maintain detail in the brightest part of the photo. Meanwhile, in dark conditions, the sensor can capture very little light more efficiently, so that the telephoto zoom results are clearer and less noise.

Expected Pura 90 Series Specifications In addition to the camera upgrade, the Huawei Pura 90 series is expected to bring a 6.58-inch screen for the standard model and a 6.87-inch screen for the Pro version with a flat design. In terms of processors, the basic model is likely to use the Kirin 9020, the Pro model with the Kirin 9030, and the Ultra model will carry the Kirin 9030 Pro.

Huawei is expected to launch the Pura 90 series in the first half of this year, following the company's regular release schedule. The presence of LOFIC technology on the telephoto lens could be a major selling point for smartphone photography enthusiasts, especially for those who like to take photos from a distance or in challenging lighting conditions.
