Online Taxi Stuck in the River After Following Google Maps

JAKARTA - An online taxi driven by A (24) suddenly fell into a river on Jalan Budi Mulia, Pademangan, North Jakarta.

The cause of the car being stuck was because the bridge it crossed did not have a road barrier. Moreover, the driver of the car who passed by also did not understand the condition of the road, because he used google maps.

"The driver was out of control, he didn't see there was a ditch," said Pademangan Police Chief, AKP Daniel Dirgala when confirmed, Monday, March 30.

In addition, the road situation is also very dark with minimal lighting. The car was stuck when maneuvering when it was about to turn back.

"The vehicle has been evacuated," he said.

Meanwhile, the driver of the car with the initials A was safe and did not have serious injuries.

"Alhamdulillah the driver is in good condition," he said.
