Minister Of Home Affairs Suggests Regent Of Alor Apologize To Social Minister Risma

BANYUWANGI - Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian suggested Alor Regent Amon Djobo apologize for his feud with Social Minister Tri Rismaharini. This apology is related to a viral video when the Regent of Alor scolded the Ministry of Social staff while offending Risma.

According to him, the apology was a gesture of statesmanship. Minister of Home Affairs Tito admitted that he had met and communicated with the Governor of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Viktor Bungtilu Laiskodat regarding the issue.

According to him, the governor is the head of the region and the representative of the central government in the region. Therefore, if there is a problem at the district level, the problem will be resolved at the provincial level first.

"The governor has said that earlier, establishing communication with the Regent. Maybe we need to apologize because we have to show a state of affairs," said Home Affairs Minister Tito in Banyuwangi, Friday, June 4.

According to him, if the issue has been resolved at the governor's level, the central government will consider it finished.

"But if the steps from the level 1 government are not enough, the Ministry of Home Affairs will make its own steps according to existing regulations," he said.

Regent Amon Djobo's anger was widely circulated on social media. In the video, which lasts 3 minutes 9 seconds, Amon, who is wearing a batik shirt, is seen scolding the staff of the Ministry of Social Affairs.

Not only that, he also seemed to expel the Ministry of Social staff to immediately leave Alor and had time to say inappropriate words towards Risma in front of his subordinates.

"If the official thinks first and then speaks, then the mouth should not be faster than the mind," said Amon in the video.
