Many travelers and tourists who pass through the Solo-Tawangmangu route stop for a moment to buy souvenirs. Various souvenirs such as thymus, jadah tempe, gethuk, rolled abon, cassava chips are the target of visitors.
At this place, buyers can order fried thymus and jadah which are made on the spot. Nia, one of the buyers on Friday, March 27 who passed by admitted that he was the first time buying souvenirs in Alit Village.
He admitted that he was interested in buying because he thought the store was interesting to visit. The number of visitors to Kampung Alit increased significantly. On ordinary days, visitors only range from 300-400 people.
At this Eid moment, visitors can reach 1,000 people a day. This was conveyed by the Manager of Operations of Kampung Alit, Arif Hidyatullah. Eid holidays are also an opportunity for pineapple fruit traders from Subang, West Java.
Pineapple traders on the Subang Selatan tourist route reap profits because of the many tourists who visit. Ade, one of the pineapple traders, said that he could sell 5-10 quintals of pineapple fruit per day during Lebaran.
Usually, the pineapple sold is only around 1 quintal per day, even on weekends. Besides pineapple, various snacks such as pineapple dodol, pineapple chocolate, pineapple chips are also a favorite of tourists to be brought as souvenirs.
