Seskab Teddy: People's Bazaar Not Only Provide Assistance, but Also Encourage Economic Circulation
Jakarta - Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) Teddy Indra Wijaya revealed that the People's Bazaar held at the National Monument (Monas) area in Jakarta on Saturday, March 28, 2026 was not only to provide assistance to the community, but also to encourage economic circulation.
This was conveyed by Teddy to reporters on the sidelines of his visit to see the atmosphere of the People's Bazaar. A number of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are included in the People's Bazaar.
According to Teddy Indra Wijaya, the involvement of UMKM actors is an important part of the People's Bazaar activities. The public who came were given free coupons to shop at the People's Bazaar which also involved the Minister of UMKM, Maman Abdurrahman.
The Secretary of State, Teddy, explained that the shopping coupons received by the public at the People's Bazaar can be exchanged for products from small business actors involved in this activity.
One coupon is worth Rp500 thousand, with details of Rp300 thousand for basic necessities, while Rp200 thousand can be exchanged for other needs. On the same occasion, Minister of MSME Maman Abdurrahman added that this activity not only presents entertainment, but also provides a real economic impact for small business players.
Maman emphasized that the momentum of the pascalebaran is used to move the economic activities of MSMEs.
