Monas Bazaar is Not Just About Shopping, Children Come Back with Gifts and Parents Bring Foodstuffs

JAKARTA - The people's bazaar at Monas, Jakarta, Saturday, March 28, 2026, is not only crowded with residents looking for basic necessities. In the midst of the crowd, children play, residents take home gifts, and many families enjoy the entertainment prepared in the event instructed by President Prabowo Subianto.

Afnila Wita, a resident of North Jakarta, said she was grateful after receiving a bicycle from the activity. The gift, he said, would be used for his child's school.

"Alhamdulillah dapat sepeda. Buat sekolah anak," ujarnya.

He also expressed his gratitude for the program.

The crowded atmosphere was also felt in the children's play area. Ibrahim and Rahim from Tanah Abang admitted that they were very enthusiastic about participating in various activities at the location. They tried basketball games, slides, and enjoyed the food that was distributed.

"Playing, there is basketball, there is also a slide. It's really fun," they said.

"I've eaten chiki, kebuli rice," he continued.

The two admitted that they had come since noon so that they could follow the entire series of events. They also prayed for President Prabowo.

"Thank you to our President, Mr. Prabowo, may his blessings be launched, his body be healthy, and his life be extended," he said.

Ati Fatimah, a resident of East Jakarta, also felt the direct benefits of the bazaar. He said his children could play, get gifts, and bring home snacks.

"Children play games, get dolls, get snacks, and take snacks," he said.

For Ati, the event is not only a place of entertainment, but also helps families in the midst of household needs after Lebaran.

"Yes, it is enough to help, it's like playing to Monas, you can get a gift too," he said.

In Monas that afternoon, residents not only came to see the crowd. They went home with groceries, gifts, food, and experiences that were immediately felt with their families.
