Former Minister of Defense Juwono Sudarsono Dies, Buried at TMP Kalibata

JAKARTA - Former Defense Minister Juwono Sudarsono died today, March 28. The sad news was conveyed by the Karo Infohan Setjen Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Rico Ricardo Sirait.

"He has died, Prof. Dr. Juwono Sudarsono, Minister of Defense of the United Indonesia Cabinet," said Rico in a written statement, Saturday, March 28.

The Minister of Defense under President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) died at the age of 84. He breathed his last breath at RSPI Pondok Indah at 13.45 WIB.

The body was buried at the funeral home at Jalan Alam Asri VII SL.20 Pondok Indah. The funeral will be held at TMP Kalibata, Jakarta tomorrow, Saturday, March 29.

Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin as the Minister of Defense will lead the funeral procession.

"Funeral procession for the late Mr. Juwono Sudarsono at TMP Kalibata," concluded Rico.
